⚡️ Winklevoss Brothers: Zcash (#ZEC) is an encrypted form of Bitcoin. In the AI era, privacy is increasingly important. Bitcoin is digital gold, and Zcash enables private and secure payments (store value in BTC, spend with ZEC).
A Cypherpunk initiative with a ZEC reserve was launched to promote privacy and personal control over your money. Ethereum, NFTs, and other technologies brought a lot of new people into the space, strengthening Bitcoin rather than weakening it. Ideally, privacy would be built into Bitcoin, but today the working model is a combination of BTC and ZEC. Over time, privacy features will appear in many cryptocurrencies.
Zcash is at an inflection point reminiscent of Bitcoin’s early rise. The world is waking up to the value of privacy. A strong Zcash community has formed—Bitcoin OGs, cryptographers, and cypherpunks. In 2025, direct interactions between top platforms and “dirty” wallets are expected to total only about 0.018–0.023% of overall transaction volume. On Binance alone, this is just 0.007–0.016% of daily turnover, roughly $90 billion.
